Its All About Me - Writing a College Essay and Winning the Board Game

It's All About Me - Writing a College Essay and Winning the Board GameYou just finished your All School Reading and want to see if the professor is going to play fair. Are you up for a little competition and go one better? Well, it is time to find out.All School Reading is an online educational project that is designed to promote reading skills in a group setting. Students will be read a short story by a master storyteller in the comfort of their own home. The students then submit their finished work to receive feedback on both their reading and story composition skills.Although a group-written story might sound like an opportunity for some real fun, it is easy to see why Mr. Fluffyman might think that the group would suck his ass at it. First, since Mr. Fluffyman works with animals, there is no doubt that he would try to read a story that had something to do with animals, especially if it was a story written by someone who had worked with a dog. Second, everyone who has ever worked with dogs knows that you do not have to read from a story directly. You also cannot trust your reader to understand what you are trying to convey.Let's take a look at a group assignment, which was actually written by the professor and used in the All School Reading program: 'Dartmouth-New Hampshire, USA: A Small, Three-Mile Island.' A group assignment is supposed to allow students to write a meaningful essay on a story and not read a story. This student-written essay is written as a group; that is, two students will collaborate to complete it, and it is their final project in the class. This student-written piece, then, is presented as a group effort. In this situation, the entire class was asked to read 'Dartmouth-New Hampshire, USA: A Small, Three-Mile Island.' One student in the class chose to read the story, but he did so without reference to the group. He ended up reading the entire story to his classmates. The professor took the assignment, and after his students read it, he des cribed his assignment: 'Dartmouth-New Hampshire, USA: A Small, Three-Mile Island.' The professor read the entire story, but it is clearly not the professor himself who is really getting the butt-slapping. Instead, it is the student who did not read the entire story. If he or she were told to read the entire story, this student may not have been able to get a good grade. So, because the Dartmouth-New Hampshire, USA: A Small, Three-Mile Island story was a group project, I think we can assume that all members of the class will be taken care of. They can expect to receive individual recognition on all assignments in the class. As far as I am concerned, a class assignment is a great opportunity to demonstrate your own writing abilities. This is a good assignment for all of the classes in All School Reading, but particularly for the class on Dartmouth-New Hampshire, USA: A Small, Three-Mile Island. The professor included this piece in his class description. Please consider this in 2020. Tha nk you.
